I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. An aspiring artist at a young age, I looked forward to evening classes at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago while still in High School. Experimenting with sculpture, photography, and performance art in undergraduate classes further opened my eyes to the variety of mediums available to an artist; much time was also spent on musical projects and beat poetry. Yearning to escape the cold Chicago winters, I soon found my way south, eventually settling in Tucson, Arizona. Artistic endeavors lead down many paths, and I found myself creating costumes for professional theater companies. I began once again to travel the country, from the coastal beauty of Northern California to the non-stop hustle of New York City. Returning to the vast horizons and intense landscapes of Arizona has also inspired much of this new work, and I could not be happier to share it with you.
